I feel strongly about keeping my color palate limited. For the last 3 years (probably even longer then that) it's been gray, light gray, peach, white, yellow, and gold leaf. I've been very happy working within that framework, but this year I felt like it was time to experiment with a new color and see what happens. After much hand wringing and over thinking, I'm happy to introduce aqua to my palate! I'm doing some simple fade bowls as a way to slowly integrate it into the group, but I have some new techniques up my sleeve that will take full advantage of the new color.
ps. I still feel a little nervous about messing with my color palate. Eek!

Beautiful!! I love it.
Thanks, Jane!
love it! totally natural progression too of classic/primary colors. if peach is a "red", you already have yellow and now blue.
I'm so glad you 'let yourself' experiment with colour- it's beautiful!
PS thanks for stopping by my blog so I could connect to yours:)
i love the aqua susan, i think it will fit in great with the rest of your colors.
Thanks, guys :)
